Compatibility. After you make it past the stage where you know you love each other, some people (who are ultimately looking at marriage) Live in to see if they can actually stand each others bad habits. You would be surprised what I learned about my husband, our first month together. Divorce is so common that I would say this live in stage is recommended. Otherwise you could be in for some nasty shocks.

Well for me it was the fact that we were together all the time, so it made sense to move in, combine our income and have less debt and be able to help one another out.

He got kicked out of his parents house and I wanted sex all the time, so I told him he could stay with me for awhile until I got sick of him, but he never moved out and now we're happily commited, but we don't have sex 8 times a day anymore because I'm off the prozac (it turned me into a sex fiend you see!)
