Cannot stand them they are all over my coutertops. I try to keep food, etc. off them but thry are everywhere. I tried baits last year.. peppermint oil.. ink?? (dont ask) Anyone have the absolute cure

i hate them also!!!!!!I found putting ground cinnamon across the door way and window sill keeps them out ..just pour it out and across the opening where they are coming in, also around the edges of the counter tops.

I Live In North Carolina and have had the same problem as you. I sprayed My window Sills real good with Raid Ant Killer and also used the Ant Bait trays. It took about 3 days for them to all disappear but it did help, Also there is probably a mound under your house or on the outside near the Window. Go to Wal-Mart and buy you some Ant granuales and spread that around the mound or anyplace you see them trailing. it takes a little work but it pays off. Just be glad they are Not FIRE ANTS..

use a peeler and put cucumber slices around windows and doors and they wont be back till next year!
