I recently purchased a truck it has quite a few scratches on it none of them are large or deep but there are quite a few anybody know how much it would cost to get this fixed. Its a 1999 ford ranger dark blue.

You can try using some wax and see if you can buff some of them out.

Otherwise, call around to a few paint/body shops and take it by to have them give you quotes.

I usually take the middle quote, but use your judgement, and make sure you have someone competent doing the work, and that they will back it up if you aren't happy.

If the scratches aren't big or deep, you may want to go to Wal Mart or an auto parts store and get some rubbing compound and "rub out the stains". That is alot cheaper than having an auto body shop fix them. If you try the rubbing compound, make sure to buff out the areas really well afterwards.

1500-3000. Hard to say without seeing it. But that range should cover it for a decent job.
