No, skipping breakfast is too dangerous. The interval between last dinner and breakfast is too long. The body gets repaired itself throughout the night. In the morning it needs breakfast.
If we skip the breakfast we shall lose our health. Ayurveda says that it is better to eat two times. Not more than two times. But the breakfast should be very healthy and nutritious.
It gives you energy for full day.

Yes. This I feel is another one of those myths that people have fallen prey to. We need to feed our apetites not be on some predetermined schedule set by just exactly who? Kellog's ?
I am not usually hungry first thing in the morning, so I will opt for juice or a smoothie. This has enough energy and nutrients to get my dad started.
I will usually eat something substantial before lunch.
I have studied both fitness and nutrition and despite what the " experts" say eating first thing after you wake up is not a hard fast rule.
I eat several small meals a day what is known as grazing.
Eating large quantities of food at once bogs me down and makes me less efficient.

It is said that: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think that is true if one is doing a really physical work, construction, sport etc. For years I never ate breakfast, but now I start my day with a good breakfast. Having experienced both not-having and having breakfast, I would highly recommend HAVING breakfast, it energizes you for the whole day

As many others have answered, it is the most important meal of the day. Why just this morning I packed down a nutritious, energy-packed breakfast of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream with a little Hershey's syrup on top. One must always pay heed to the axioms of society or suffer the consequences.

I havnt eaten breakfast for the past like 3 years and i hear daily "breakfast is the most important meal of the day". usually i sleep in till noon and its too late to eat breakfast. So people probably shouldnt skip it but if i said no i would be a hipocrit. you are suppose to have 6 meals a day.

Yes. Skipping breakfast means that between dinner and lunch you don't eat for about 16 hours out of every 24, which will severely slow your metabolism.

***YES***
it is bad to skip breakfast !!!
"remember"...
"BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE YOUR DAY"
I know sometimes we don't have the time or care for it but if you at least get something in like a cereal bar/trail mix/yogurt anything quick it will definitely help you function better through out the day it wakes your brain up as well as your metabolism.
Personally I sometimes don't even want breakfast since I get up so early but my Doc.said eat breakfast at least, one hour no more from the time you get up.
coffee & toast is what I do.
BEST WISHES TO YOU
