My husband and I have been TTC and think there is a possibility i could be pregnant but havent taken a test yet for the fear that my dream will be crushed with a big old negative...I have a somewhat irregular cycle-ranges each month anywhere from about 27 days-about 30 something days. My last cycle was 37 days and this month im past day 37 days...I have never noticed sore breasts before my period and for the last few days have been having them, along with slightly swollen looking areolas, also slight cramping like like i could get my period but still havent gotten it (i hope i didnt just speak to soon). Ive been a little more tired than usual and im just wondering if you think i have a good chance of being pregnant?? or if i shouldnt waste my time and money on a test. Thanks...please no rude comments, this has been a bumpy road for us.

Take the test when you feel comfortable. I'm pretty much to the point where you are...I'm not going to take the test until I see lots of signs. But, I also am telling myself that I won't believe that I'm pregnant until I know for sure. If you do take a test...try not to go into the test convinced that you are pregnant...just be pleasantly surprised if you are!

I know what you mean. The test can be expensive. I would by the 3 pack test for like 20.00 to save me some money. Instead of 1 test that cost alot $12.00. I tried for 3 months and was getting frustrated as well, then I got pregnant last December but unfortunally I misscarried in February of this year. I too have irregular-cylces & I know how hard it is. I wish you the best of luck to you on conceiving.

you definitely could be preggers. With you being so far past your expected AF already you should get a test and just look for First Response or EPT those are the best ones. And they usually come with 2 or 3 in a box. Don't buy one if there is only 1 cause thats a waste of money. Or if you want. Go to your local dollar store and get one of theirs!!!

Hi! I agreed with others, you have to face your anxiety, take the test. I'm having the same prob. every month we spent a lot of money on preg. tests, and get disappointed every time. Actually get pos. once time but I got miscarriage. I know it's been really hard for you guys since you wanted the baby so bad (same here). So no matter what the result come out, be patient and don't give up, what if you're preg. you'll never know if you don't test. Well, good luck!

I would go ahead and take a test to alleviate your anxiety. I am pregnant for the second time now and very sore breasts were my first sign. I don't want to get your hopes up but you will feel better after you know for sure either way. If you are not pregnant and haven't tried an ovulation predictor kit (from the drug store) they have been very effective for me.

Yes you do have a high chance of being pregnant. I know what you are going through, It seems every month that you are pregnant but that negative get us every time. Try a opk they work wonders. Been ttc for about 5 months with no luck.GOOD LUCK
