I watched GMA this morning and they did a big story about John Edwards wife. While tragic, when are people going to realize that politicians play people and actually get increased numbers when they are portrayed as victims. Max Cleland uses his war injuries to get elected repeatedly until people realized how much he was doing it and actually looked at his voting record. It was kind of funny, that he suddenly had post traumatic disorder recently 35 years after the fact. I think he was seeing if he had a chance at making a political comeback bases on sympathy votes.

look at his wife? who didnt know she would have some medical condition. he wuld be smart not to run for presidency. two humilations would be too much

its called being preoccupied.
He won't have the stamina to go against hillary or obama in the primary now. But honestly obama and edwards never really had a chance against a clinton anyway.
thats good news for republicans, let us at the hill, we will enjoy a great victory dance the night of the election.

I don't care, and who cares about his wife. All I care about is electing Obama as president and Governor Tim Kaine as Vice president come 2008.
