My teacher is always yelling at students and has no control over the classroom. He gets in their faces everyday and everyone is really anoyed with him because he threatens to fail kids and stuff. What are your opinions on how I should handle this situation and how I can get the principles attention without creating a whole bunch of drama. This teacher is really out of control.

maybe if your class wasn't so obnoxious then it wouldn't be a problem and you might find your teacher isn't that bad

If you wish to remain anonymous, a note to your principal stating that he or she should "drop by" class during your period would be the best way to handle this situation. Leave the details out of the note and let the administrator judge the situation for herself. You should understand that teachers and principals are often not on the same "side" in these cases, and while the teacher may not appreciate the visit, your principal certainly will appreciate the "heads up".

If you can't go to this teacher when he is alone and explain how he is scaring everyone with his yelling, don't do anything.

If you write or E-mail the principal, the message will be shown to the teacher, and YOU will be on a HIT LIST.

That teacher should only be in your life for a few months more, Either talk to him direct, or leave it alone.

I'd create some drama and talk to some other parents.
You are the advocate of your child. Perhaps something deeper is going on with this teacher.
write a note and don't put your name on it. CC school board members or the super. of your schools.

Good Luck

Or go sit in one day just stand outside before you go in too.
So they don't know you are "there" yet.
Your school should have an open door policy.

Stay classy- write a letter to the principal. But write it well, because that's the only way the principal might notice this problem. If that doesnt help, frequently email the principal.
