Her song "The Stars Are Blind" sounds exactly like a song UB40 covered called "Kingston Town". Same melody, different words.

UB40 paid royalties to the original song writer Lord Creator, who is now deceased. Can Lord Creator's record label sue Paris Hilton?

I'm not talking about royalties, I'm talking about Copyright Infringement.

The song works off a simple reggae beat and there's dozens of songs that sound very similar, it's jut one of those things that when you work in a certain genre of music that is contrained by a certain set of rules which define it, things are often going to sound like they have similar melodies.

Really not wanting to make excuses for her - I'd love nothing more than to see her completely and utterly financially impoverished and actually having to work for a living.
