Jews can be of any nationality. Its a religion, not a race. If he is antisemitic then you would have to be of middle eastern descent and be brethren to all of those muslims. I guess then, that Israeli's are anti Semitic because they persecute Palestinians.

More like he's "penny-wise and pound-foolish". But jokes aside, they have no place in the working environment. I would probably bring this one up within the privacy of my supervisor's office. You didn't ask for the pennies.

Probably not, he is most likely just trying to have you focus on the $$$ and not on your work. He may be trying to advance up the corporate ladder at your expense, this is only applicable if you are not in the Banking or Law industry where you would have advanced already.

Hi
To have pennies thrown at you is an insult on your worth whether he is an antisemite you'd have to ask him that.

No. He is trying to support any charitable causes you espouse.
Let him know you bought a tree in Israel with the pennies, and you can get two trees if he starts throwing nickels.

i'm not sure if he is antisemitic, but if you save the pennies, eventually you can go on vacation and have a good laugh at his expense.

That is just wrong. I am very sorry to hear this. It sounds like a very ignorant thing to do to any one, there is no accounting for character. I would report this to you superiors. What ever reason he has for this it is not an acceptable behavior.

He could just be an idiot. (I'm not assuming the coworker is a "he," I'm just using the generic pronoun here).
