Depending on what you're looking for. Germany has great churches and historical towns with great food and beer. I really like Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart. Italy is wonderful as the culture is so neat and their food and wine is to die for. Plus, they have lots of neat places (Rome, Verona, Venice, Sicily, etc...) France is neat with the Parisian culture and diverse countryside (the south of France on the Mediterrean and Paris, and the west coast). France has great bakeries and coffee! Holland is so beautiful with the flowers and windmills and beautiful green countryside. Amsterdam is a wonderful city with so many things to see: Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank's house, Rembrandt Museum, Heiniken Brewery, coffee houses,etc... England is neat because it truly has alot of history with landmarks that are quite famous, ie: London Bridge, Stonehedge, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, etc... I've been all over Europe it is all pretty cool. The cultures are so different from each other, yet they live so close to each other. I think people are missing out if they don't get to go to Europe at least once in their lifetime.

Since I don't know what you're looking for , I recommend you Croatia. Whatever you want you're find it over there. The best is to go in summertime, but you won't be sorry if you go in some other time as well.
1. Geographically belongs to 3 European regions: Mediterranean, Panonian plane and Southeast European mountains - 3 completely different landscapes, cuisines, way of life
2. More than 40% of the country is protected nature
3. A LOT of old cities and very rich cultural heritage ( medieval castles in inner part, old Greek and Roman cities on the coast - not to mention the best preserved roman arena in the world in Pula, almost new!)
4. In summer time, a lot of small touristic cities becoming patry cities
5. Excellent food
Did I forgot something?

That depends on what you want to do and see. Add to your question and I can give you more detail about Europe.

I can tell you now that Germany is wonderful with lots of historic places to visit. The beer is great and the food is yummy.

If you want to party some, maybe Holland is more for you. Especially if you want to go to the "coffee houses".

If you prefer to go somewhere where the language barrier won't be a problem, England, Ireland, and Scottland are beautiful countries with SO much to do and see.

Italy and Spain, maybe Portugal - beautiful countries, easy-going people, awesome food, awesome beaches/nature, very romantic & with rich history, friendly folks all over the place. Germany is beautiful in a very Lego-blocks, sterilized way with cold & hateful people - Nazis who have no courage to say so; similar for France, only much dirtier and with obnoxious snobs for inhabitants. Norway is a great place to go if you're into wilder nature and cooler climate.
