There are tons of ways to find rental's on line. Your first best bet would be to google city newspapers. Aside from that, there are other websites such as:

Rent.com
Realtor.com
Craigslist.org
Yahoo Real Estate

The best one is the one that has your unit listed. Not all sites carry the same properties. Start by searching for city - state - rental house/ apartment/ condo. You are going to have to look at them all.
The rent is based on the owners requirements and the manaments cut. The site itself has very little to do with the final rent.
