i know you don't want your little one left out but this is you daughters birthday so maybe you should have 2 celebrations like a tea party for family and then take your daughter and a couple of friends ten pin bowling, swimming or to the cinema and a burger. you don't want her to grow up and say i never did what i wanted because of the little one.

I have several ideas for you.
1. Do you have a roller skating rink in your area. Kids love this and you and your younger children can join in.
2. Check with the movie theaters in your area to see if they have a party package.
3. Do you have a YMCA in your area? The one by me has miniature golf and indoor swimming pools. Great for the younger kids too.
4. Go to the game and parks and see if you can rent a park building. Do something fun like make or buy a pinata, my sister would make one based on the theme of the party. The kids loved it.
5. Pizza parlors that are kid friendly, like Chucky Cheese.
6. How about your church building?
I hope these suggestions have helped you in making your 8 year old's birthday a wonderful one.

Grab a pinata, and some BBQ equipment. Hit the local park, and just chill and invite all of her family. Kids always love whacking the pinata and BBQs are always great for everyone. Then after the party allow her to have 3 to 5 of her closest girls over for a slumber party and let her rule the roost while you and your lady are in the background or even your bedroom (just be sure to check on her periodically). You'll be considered the coolest parents around.

Instead of a party why not take her and a friend to a zoo? All little girls love animals. A big reccommendation is Longleat safari park, It's about £60 for a family ticket.Well worth it, loads to do. Lions are a big fave, and they have a boat trip to see the sealions and gorillas. Check out the website.

I took my daughter to the beauty salon for a manicure. She got to invite a few friends and they also did a mini-makeup on all of them and I curled thier hair. They felt special. We went to pizza after (a place without balls ha ha) they were all 8-9 yrs old.

Take her to the local slaughter house and let her watch as fine animals are killed for our meals, let her enjoy the spectacle of pigs getting the electric shocks, or sheep the rod down the spinal, column. next day at school she can brag how her parents did something really different for her. Let the other ankle biters get a touch of green eye. It's better she knows what goes off than thinking meat comes from a butcher shop and the butcher gets it by magic..............

Depending on what nearby, try these:
Bowling Alley, Skating Rink, Go-Cart parks, Amusement Parks, a local motel with a pool.

Some places offer Princess Parties, Dress up Parties, etc. I'd google your city AND state, then see what comes up!
