According to the recommendations on Micronora if you miss 1 period you should contact your physician for a pregnancy test. While this pill is effective you take as prescribed it is NOT as effective as estrogen/prgestron birth control.

From www.webmd.com drug section:

Your periods may be early or late, shorter or longer, heavier or lighter than normal. You may also have some spotting between periods, especially during the first several months of use. If bleeding is prolonged (more than 8 days) or unusually heavy, contact your doctor. If you miss 2 periods in a row (or 1 period if the pill has not been used properly), contact your doctor for a pregnancy test.

hi there...I am on the pill and it doesn't delay your period but every month you will have it around the same time...I love knowing when it's coming so there are no surprises...
