For people who hated Clinton's guts, you sure do hold him up to the standard that Bush has to meet in order to be a good President, don't you?

Three of you can't read. I'm not saying you're holding CLINTON up to a standard, I'm saying you're holding HIM up as the standard BUSH must meet. Which is pretty amazing, considering how much you all claim to hate him.
I think there's a little hero worship involved there. You're all closet Clinton supporters.

If it ain't a Clinton thing, it's a Kennedy thing or next in line it's a liberal thing.
I think of it as more of a clueless conservative thing. Defending the indefensible must be tough duty.

I wouldn't support Clinton in a closet or anywhere else! You force some people to use him as a comparison because you constantly "beat up" President Bush, you leave us no freaking choice!

Clinton was 100 times better of a president than Bush and yet the whiners still say "but Clinton...." whenever Bush gets caught doing something corrupt or illegal.

Because for the same types of incidences, you people gave Clinton a pass, but hold others accountable.
It was your your change of attitude regarding things (wiretaps, wars, crimes, corruption, etc) depending upon the party affiliation of the perpetrator that paints you people as the hypocrites you truly are.
That's why we hang Clinton around your necks like an albatross, so that everybody can see that you are little more than partisan political hypocrites. Claro?

Don't think so....I hate Billy's guts. I will admit he was the consumate politician, which is not a compliment. As far as Bush goes, the longer he hangs on the worse his legacy. When I compare presidents its with the best....Ronald Reagan.

You miss the point. Your hypocrisy is on full display when you cry about Bush doing something legal on a lesser degree than Clinton did when he was President.
Bush fires 8 attorneys and gets a screaming fest from the Democrats
Clinton fires 92 attorneys and there's silence from the Dems.

And what's wrong with holding him up to a standard? Truthfully, he failed it, miserabley, and all of the excuses that everyone keeps putting forward are pathetic. The man was/is a liar and a scoundrel.

The Bush supporters were damaged by situational ethics. Apparently, if a situation makes Bush look bad, mention clinton and it's okay. Or, it's bad unless Clinton did it, then, it's still bad if Clinton did it, but it's okay if bush does it.
