This is a load of bullshit put out by some Americans that makes all Americans unpopular. When the red necks get off their high horse and learn to live in harmony with the rest of the world this question will be obsolete. The USA at this time can't even rule themselves. They live by the Dollar and the Dollar is now nearly 2 to the Pound Sterling. To be quite honest I don't think this question was written by an American because Americans are better educated.

Look... I'm a brit, but I have every intention of moving to the US in a few years... I'm happy to admit that America has a lot going for it, and I'm looking forward to having a better quality of life when I get there...
But how many wars have America actually won lately? Since the war of independance, how many conflicts have America been involved with (on thier own) and made ANY difference? Clearly your idea of superiority is different to everybody elses!
Great place, good people (mostly)? Yes... definately...

Probably becuase you as a nation are run by a mad man who would gladly use a nuke or propose santions. Personally I think you a little confused...Americans are not feared, they are despised and hated, and also stupid beyond all belief. We laugh at you behind your backs and bearate you.
The EU as a whole has a storonger currency..more people and large military than the states so watch this space. Keep pumping you cash into Europe...we are loving it...China and the EU have a good relationship...so let's see you ask that question in a few years. Their public grandstanding means nothing - the reality is they would not want the US to attack their country and are teaming up with each other. This action could cause an adverse reaction that imminent attacks can take place.
For example Iran and Venezuela.
