carbohydrate ,lipid,protein,peptide : what we call these things biochemistry of chemy just or what ?

well all these are called bio molecules in the subject biochemistry.They do not totally come under chemistry.
carbohydrates-They are polyhydroxy aldehydes or ketones
-They provide energy for the functioning of a cell.
Lipid-They are storage fats.They are mostly found in cell membranes.
Proteins-they are linear sequences of amino acids and perform various functions .
peptide -It is a bond that brings together amino acids to form a protein.Usually a combination of amino acids is called a peptide like dipeptide means there are 2 peptide bonds.
