First of all, it's Kurt Cobain. Not Kurt Kobain.
Second of all, we'll never know now will we? Someone probably did kill him, but it could be some bum who walked in off the street and picked up Kurts gun and killed him. I (opposing many people) don't really think it was Courtney. There's always a possibilty, but I don't think it was her.

Why when a famous person dies does everyone think it is shady or a conspiracy? (Diana, Monroe are other examples)
Are famous people not allowed to just die without being murdered or the subject of a government cover up?

Most likely suicide.
However, conspiracies have arisen that Kurt had so much heroin in him, that it would have killed him instantly, leaving him no time to pick up a gun and shoot himself!
