PATRICK MICHAEL RAFTER- (born 28 December 1972, in Mount Isa, Australia) is a former World No. 1 tennis player from Australia. He was a two-time men's singles champion at the US Open, and a two-time runner-up at Wimbledon IN 2000 AND 2001. Rafter was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2006.

Poor Patrick Rafter lost both years (and with different hair styles if I recall). He lost in four sets to Pete Sampras in 2000 and in a classic five set match with Goran Ivanisevic (WOOHOO) in 2001.
