Why is Sanjaya still on American Idol?

I heard that it is because Howard Stern or someone doesn't like Simon and is telling people that listen to his show to vote for him......

There are 3 main reasons why Sanjaya is still hanging on.
1) He is being promoted on votefortheworst.com It is a site that picks out the worst performer and urges the American public to vote to keep him on.

2) This is the first Indian American Idol candidate. He has a LARGE cultural fanbase that will keep him on for quite a while.

3) The 3rd is just a rumor. The fact is that the millions of American Idol votes get outsourced to India to get counted. The rumor part is that the Indian employees over there are fixing the votes and adding extra votes for Sanjaya.

One thing is certain. He won't be going home anytime soon. I see him making the top 5 before getting the boot.

If that is the case then HOWARD STERN needs a reality check. Allot of people didn't like him and he is doing to Simon what all these radio stations did to him. I call that a hypocrite.

Basically he shouldn't be interfering with the show. Sanjaya needs to be booted off and its pissing me off to no end that this boring no talent singer has yet to be sent home.

HE should have been voted off way before sundance and way before Stephanie. Talk about a weak link, this guy couldn't win a freaking Karaoke contest yet he is surviving American Idol? Judges should step in on this crap already. Basically the contest is now being influenced by outside assholes like Howard stern that has nothing better then to ruin the American dreams of talented people like sundance or Stephanie. What a joke!

Sanjaya is still on American Idol because he has a little thing called talent.More than all of those people who make fun of him. Everyone who makes fun of him really need to get a life because I doubt that any of them could go up there and do what he does.The people who make fun of him are the people who are jealous of his talent.

I thought he should have been sent home back when he did that stupid lil# with the dumb hat!!! But by the next episode I actually felt bad for him cuz eveyone was making fun of him, even Paula appologized for pretty much calling eveyone deaf cuz he didnt go home. He looked like he was going to cry, i actually felt bad for him.I missed this weeks show but I heard that he improved a bit since last week.

That's what I would like to know too! How in the hell is Stephanie gone before Haley,Phil and gaylord "Sanjaya"?????? It's all fixed it sucks! The bottom 3 should have been those 3 and Chris Richardson to be on the bottom 2 with Stephanie? Something is wrong!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed him on idol. he replaced into interesting yet I knew he wouldnt win, tho he's proficient! I do think of he's wonderful to boot. i'm unsure if he's gay yet hi if he's extra power to him I nevertheless think of hes great wonderful

the show needs people who can create publicity or who are much talked about ..even the worst ...it is all in for ratings or the bottomline ..the money !
