First of all..........Professor Yussef reminds me of one of those idiots who believes that the world will end, that only government can solve it by taking away rights! Sounds like a new religion if you ask me! Professor Yussef, you are just like the scientists from 50 years ago who preached global cooling will kill us all and that there would be no life on earth by 2000! Well 6.5 billion strong and growing! Even though we can fit all the people of thw world into the state of arkansas, we still have alot of growth to do and let's hope this continues!
Tangerine - Cheney's daughter is gay but even she doesn't truly believe that gays have the right to marriage! I personally believe government shouldn't be in marriage in the first place. Leave that up to the churches and God!
Map - Clinton's aides have stated many times that the Kyoto Treaty is flawed in many ways! It really is true, Gore is pulling the same bullshit as does the right-wing conservatives to control the people and put restrictions on them.
Justagrandma - You will never get the results you want from government! They can't even run a grocery store! There is a reason every good that you have comes from something other than the government, from the people! Government money is just that, waste! Global warming will not be helped by more spending through the hands of Bush or Gore or Hillary! You are living in a dream world, you give lots of hope when really you should be stressing the truth, the truth that government interaction does not equal the desired result!
These people don't believe in a free America, they believe in their America! Politicians will never be the answer, only the death!

Clinton was right, so is Gore. It will hurt, it should be done, even if we don't get the worst possible scenario, we need to clean up the air, water and earth from the garbage we are putting into it. We have only had the hard core human pollution from coal, autos, oil and factories since the start of the industrial revolution, a mere 150 years out of millions and this is where we are, smog, permanent haze over cities dangerous increases in asthma. Heavy metals in water and fish and strange man made chemicals in the earth spread through the underground waters. I'm a neat person, if I spill coffee grinds on the floor I understand that putting them under the table isn't going to make them go away, whats so hard about a factory using a clean smokestack, except a loss of a few dollars a dividend? And that only on a temporary basis. Clean up after yourself, we do why shouldn't they?
Michael no where did I state that the government had to pay for the businesses to clean up their act, and if spewing pollution without having to clean it up is your idea of dreamy hopefulness, you must have a very hard life. I specifically state that with or without Kyoto or Gore, Businesses that mess up must pay up. Not governments.

Gore is a Liar and a Cheat. There is no Global Warming that is being caused by anything the People on this Planet are doing. Gore fails to tell the People that his statement that he is carbon zero is a lie. All he does is pay someone to give him a certificate, stating that he has paid someone else to do something (unknown), to compensate for Gore's HUGE use of carbon fuels.
Next he will be selling the Brooklyn Bridge!!!!!!!

It is laughable that the same people who act like Gore is the savior of the planet never question the fact that he was the second most powerful man on the planet for EIGHT years....why did he do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING regarding this 'grave threat'?
Anyone with a modicum of intelligence can figure this out - it's really not that hard.
Mr Gore continues to show, right up to this day, that liberal-minded folks like himself love to TALK the game...but when it's their turn at bat, they sit it out and critisize those in the game.

When did Clinton say that? Clinton didn't submit the treaty for ratification because the republican congress made it clear they wouldn't approve it.

Bush supported passing a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, but Dick Cheney has a daughter who is a lesbian, whom he loves and supports. Presidents and Vice Presidents don't always agree on everything.
