Why do Asian women generally prefer white guys?

Here in LA there is a huge trend with second generation types especially. I've also noticed this pattern in other cities. I even hear that Korean and Japanese women rarely marry their own. Why is that?

And how do Asian men feel about this?

This is a hard question to answer. There is no real, good way to answer it without sounding either arrogantly conceited or racist.

I live in Japan so I will not try to expound overmuch on the way asian american women behave (though I suspect some of it is simply a questtion of availability in that case. There's a lot more potential white mates in the US than potential asian mates) but in Japan at least, it seems to me they are attracted to several differences Americans exhinbit from Japanese men.

(These are EXTREME generalizations and not intended to describe every individual situation by any stretch of the imagination.)

1. For the average Japanese man the most important thing in his life is his job. Americans tend to put their families and spouces first.

2. Japanese men (because of a generally more permisive social attitude on the practice and the nature of the institution of marriage) are more likely to cheat or just become disinterested in their wives.

3. Americans are less afraid to be spontaneous and emotional than Japanese men.

4. Just a question of something different and exotic (i.e. the same reason we are attracted to them!)

5. American men pay. Japanese men go dutch.

6. American men are 1000 times more likely to tell their wives/girlfriends "I love you" than a Japanese man.

Those are just educated guesses based on experience, but I don't think I'm far off the mark, at least where Japan is concerned.

Thats is not completely true but at the same time its
True and its not because they don't wanna have asian men some just dont like being asian and they want their kids look asian .most wanna have half kids so they can show off and brag about it.
Japanese are like that the most..They are sick in brain..especially japanese women who cant marry in Japan would have a kid from any foreigner..doesn't matter which nationality ...

But at the end..they don't realize that they were born to japanese parents and should treasure that..
The worse thing about Japanese and asian women is abducting the kids. Still japanese are the top FBI list ..

lol... why? well it is because white guys can love an asian women with all of their heart? i dont even know and im an asian young lady, im only 18.but i know this asian guys are really picky in what they want in a girl, and white guys doesnt , well they do but not so much, not to a point that they will hit the girl or anything. an asian man have no control in their emotion, a white guy can control their emotion to a limit. as for me i will marry any guy that will love me for who i am and not what i look like or what is my race/color, but what is inside of me that count. i dont care if i marry a handicaped man,or a black man, or white man, all i need in a guy is love, and a great personality, humor, and can love his mother with all of his heart, because if he can love his mom he can love and treat a girl with respect. that all i can say. for me I dont really care who i date they just need to be what i decribe above. and you ask what does an asian man feels about this matter? well they date outside their race too, so it doesnt matter, but if you are like my brothers who love our mom dearly than they are more likely date a girl their own race, to be correct a vietnamese girl.

Bottom line -- Asian women tend to feel that asian men are too cocky in their own societies and that white men are gentle by nature.

I'm not Asian but have asian friends that do it and my understanding is the sex is better and more interesting then what they are use to and they are being defiant to their parents desire for them to date in within their own race.
