i dont want american idol but everyone keeps saying how bad sanjya is if the judges think he is so bad why did he go to hollywood and past the second ad third round b4 people started votin?

Because the judges knew he was good enough to get in but they also knew he wasn't good enough to stay. Just remember their comments when he stood there with Sundance and Sabrina and they got voted off instead of him. If it were the judges decision there's no way that would have happened.

I dont know why the judges put him through if they think he is bad. He was probably better before and he may not be picking the best songs for him. He is not bad, he is pretty darn good! He isnt the best singer but he is so loveable and he has personality, charm and charisma. I personally Love him!

He's not bad bless him!! He's pretty good but not in the same league as the others. He's only 17 & definitely needs time to grow - Try again in 10 years Sanjaya!!!!!

He's awful, and being voted through as a joke, thanks to votefortheworst.com and Howard Stern's satellite radio show listeners. It's even been talked about on major news networks.
He went to Hollywood because his first audition was actually pretty good - good enough that I think the judges thought he could only go up from where he was. Instead, the harder he tries, the worse it gets.

No he is not bad he is like the worse competitor right now that did not deserve to go pass the Hollywood auditions and the reason he is still on is because stupid people keep voting for him.

He was better in the beginning, maybe its nerves or song choice but he isn't bad at all. I really like him. there is just something about that kid people love!!! (many but not all)

No, I don't think Sanjaya Malakar is bad.I think he is quite good.Actually, he is my favorite contestant this season. Of course, it is a matter of opinion.
