Only if you're not a very good singer, but that will only get you so far. The voice is still the most important thing.

Talent has no physical appearance. Some of the best talents were not what could be called beautiful people. Don't allow your appearance to hold you back, you must do what your heart and head tell you to do. Good Luck.

singing is your strong point,looks are secondary. it helps to be good looking. look at mick jagger and that should help. self confidance is the key thing to have. be proud of your voice and keep working on stage pressence. good luck.

I look at it this way, typically you listen to music mostly on the radio, so you really don't see their faces. Looks aren't everything.
