Hey, to the first answerer...a PREquel is something that happened PRIOR to the other movies. Kinda like the last three Star Wars movies were PREquels to the ones that were done in the 70's and 80's...

There's going to be a prequel??? I did not know that! I find that a rather exciting prospect! So would this then be back when Freddy was alive and pre-burn victim and snatching children and such?
Whatever happened to the remake of the original Friday the 13th???

now that's the first I heard of it. I heard a few years back of another Jason vs Freddy with the dude from texas chainsaw massacre.
