What are the pro's and con's of buying a Motorola pink RAZR?

Question

After much begging, I'm getting one in April. My parents asked me if I was sure I wanted that phone, because a lot of people claimed it wasn't a very good phone to have. I really want it, though!!

I have one and I love it. Mine is through Verizon. They had a lot of problems when they 1st came out but they have worked through them. The only problem I had was the battery would need charged every time I had a long conversation (60min). I took it to the store and had them upgrade the software (free) and it had been great. I know that the technology varies from provider to provider. I can only speak for Verizon.

I always get an error message saying my sim card is not inserted, when it is... I plug in the charger and for some reason it does not charge at all...Sometimes the screen goes all white and freezes...I had to replace my first pink razr after having it for only 2 days

In my opinion, I wouldn't purchase this phone. I had a razor and the battery always died, the thing wouldn't ring half of the time and the keypad froze. I didn't purchase insurance on it so I had to but a new phone. I would never purchase a razor again. My razor was through Verizon.

It can be a good phone as long as you buy it from an authorized store. I bought one from Ebay when they first came out and had endless problems with it. But as far as service and everything like that its a good phone. Theres new pink ones that just came out called Moto Rizrs also.

theres one thing i hate about motorola..
u cant keep a seperat forlder for all the txt messages u want to keep... but instead... u can lock the message so it wont get deleted...

if thats ok with u... dont go for the pink razr.. go for the dolce and gabbana
