I had a salesperson call and offer to send me a hat of my favorite sports team in appreciation for reviewing their product. After 10 minutes of her jabbering none stop I informed her I wasn't interested in her product so she hung up.
So do I still get the hat for listening to her sales pitch?

probably not but I would be an a** and call them back and say "Hey wheres my hat" if they tell you no then you have the right to say, "that's why I didn't go with your product cause all your sales people are liers" .
You could tell them you were testing them to see if you really got the hat and if so you would buy their product but since you didn't now you really don't want it cause you don't trust them.
At least you would get the last word anyway.

Not likely. I think the deal is you have to listen to the full rant for the hat.

well I should hope so!!! You had to listen to her jabber about something you werent interested in,wasting your time,then she HANGS UP on you? D*mn right you should get that hat.
