I think it is an excellent idea. Any decision regarding a medical procedure should be a FULLY informed decision. This means that all consequences of the procedure need to be reviewed. If a person is willing to take the life of a fetus, then they need to know what it is exactly that they are "aborting." I am convinced that the pro-choice crowd doesn't really want these women to see the developemental stage of the "fetus" they are aborting because they will see a child with hands and feet, a heartbeat, facial expression, and life, not just some lump of tissue to be gotten rid of.
While I believe there are some circumstances that may warrant an abortion, the majority are just murders of convenience, and these women need to face the facts of what they are doing.

I dont understand wh education isnt a first consideration.. especially to the boys/men... Somehow all the guilt, responsibility, shame, lifetime of concerns, and judgement always lands on the woman. We have a gift to bear children but, we are also are physically weaker then males and have hormones and ignorance as well. Why make a woman feel so horrible about what might have been either rape, bad judgement, a need to feel loved, being convinced or young love and possibly ignorance. We need to make boys understand better - they should be accountable on all levels. I had someone ask me once - have you ever seen an ultrasound of a baby? I said yes, have you ever seen one breath on its own? We are the holders of their lives - I dont believe they are a life until they can live. Give us women a break - we have been judged, mistreated, not respected since the beginning of time. Thank god for birth control - or we would still be mistreated. Maybe this is what the ole south is trying to redeem - to keep women down. Get over it South Carolina - Also - we need to change the word Child Support to Child Supplement - because that is what it is... Men stand up and be counted ... its your responsibility too.

I think it should be an option, but requiring it is, quite frankly, insulting. Women know that they are aborting a fetus, most have a decent idea of what it looks like, assuming most of us DID take a health/sex-ed class in high school that gave basic human development. Requiring this first of all assumes that women don't know what is going on in their bodies and are not capable of making decisions. I'm a big girl. I can make my own medical decisions. I know its alive, I don't care. It is my choice, not yours, not the governments and not the radiologists. Mine.

I don't understand why they even bother with abortion laws. Make it legal for any that want it any time.
I rememvber when it was totaly not legal any place in the USA and the doctors did it any way and nothing was said. They used a different procedure name for it then but abortion is what it was and we all knew it.
It is up to the woman to deside if she wants the baby or not. Not even the father should have any say.

I think that it is bizarre that they even try to pass a law such as this in our day and age!! The idea is supposedly that the women realizes that she is killing a living being when she sees the foetus. I think they should credit women with a lot more sense than that, I think we know what an abortion is!!! Abortion is a very sensitive issue, and whether you believe abortion is right or wrong I think this is somewhat separate - it is "nannying" women, as if they can't think for themselves, it's controlling, sexist and outdated!

I don't see a problem with it. If a woman is that emotional and unsure about her decision, she has not been counselled through the decision properly. It might be a good opportunity to weed out the borderline cases who need more attention in this way. But I believe for most women it is a conscious decision, and it will not change anything.

The only way you can make good choice is if you have all the good information about what you are going to do.
I know Pro-choice people don't like it because it does add a human face to the choice and it is easier to terminate a choice than terminate a human being.

i think its horrible..having an abortion or deciding on an abortion is a difficult choice and one that should be thought over thoroughly..having them see a pic of the fetus would just add to the emotions and i dont agree with that...its bad enough ppl are trying to make abortions illegal but to put it in someone's face like this is crazy...i guess we can outlaw abortions or make women view the fetus and continue to have unwanted, unplanned pregnancies and then have baby's born to unfit, unable to care for and beaten and abused later on in life..yeah, that sounds like a plan

being denied safe abortion and forced to have kids is the easiest method (republican plot ?) to keep the masses 'down' and stuck in a perpetual cycle of poverty , while the rich get richer .have you ever noticed how these anti abortion folks aren't at home taking care of adopted kids ? 900,000 in foster care in U.S. alone , waiting . come on folks put your money were your mouth is .adopt an unwanted multiple handicapped child of color today . otherwise shut up and keep it legal .
