Sell it on Ebay, or find an antiques dealer near you with a good reputation, have it valued, and see if they're interested in buying it.
Also, get in touch with TV and Film companies, as they may be interested in it for using as a prop in 'period dramas' or films

It sounds like an ANTIQUE to me... Someone might very well be interested in it....Place it in the want ads... There are SOME newspapers that will not charge you anything for that service...escpecially those small ones that most communities have. You can also post this info at stores like WALMART. They usually have bulletin boards that numerous people use to sell their products....good luck. You might also check the websites by entering in the appropriate question to research it....

Make a very good photo of it and put it on Ebay and put a minimum price of at least five hundred bucks.

Plenty of people out there with money they do not need.
