1.)
28/32
Find the greatest number that can be used to divide BOTH numbers.
Both are divisible by 4. So divide 28 and 32 by 4.
= 7/8.
2.)Divide 3/8
first, multiply 3 with 10
it gives 30.
now divide 30 by 8.
we get 3.75.
since we multiplied 3 with 10, divide 3.75 by 10
= 0.375
3.) -5/6 is in its simplest form
4.) To change anything into percent, multiply the fraction by 100.
(Helpful hint: "per" means "for every" and "cent" means
"hundred")
Anyways, 4/5 = 0.8
0.8 * 100 = 80
4/5 = 80%

to reduce 28/32 to simplest form..you need to find a common nnumber to divide into both 28 and 32. These are even numbers so you could start with 2.

28 / 2 = 14 /2 = 7
32/2 = 16 /2 = 8

This is how you arrive at the lowest form 7/8 cannot be reduced further.

I don;t understand the second problem you posted..there is a semi colon in there ...

But the last question: how to change 4/5 into a percent.

Simple, use a calculator and divide 4 by 5. In other words 4/5=.8 and .8 is the same as 80/100 which is 80%

23/32
We can reduce this fraction to lowest
terms by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 4
Why divide by 4? 4 is the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD)
or Greatest Common Factor (GCF) of the numbers 28 and 32.
So, this fraction reduced to lowest terms is 7/8

The problem here is to divide 3/8 and -5/6

This problem can be solved by multiplying3/8 by the reciprocal of-5/6
To find the reciprocal of -5/6
Simply exchange the numerator and denominator, or just "flip" the
fraction upside-down.
The reciprocal of-5/6 is 6/-5
The problem here is to multiply 3/8 and 6/-5
This problem can be solved by multiplying together the two
numerators (the 3 and 6),
giving 18, which will be the numerator in our answer.
Also, we'll multiply together the two denominators (the 8 and -5),
giving -40, which will be the denominator in our answer.

Doing so, we get an answer of - 18/40

The fraction is not reduced to lowest terms. We can reduce this
fraction to lowest
terms by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 2.

Why divide by 2? 2 is the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD)
or Greatest Common Factor (GCF) of the numbers -18 and 40.
So, this fraction reduced to lowest terms is - 9/20

The final answer is: - 9/20

to change 4/5 into percent divide the numerator by the denominator, just like the fraction says 4/5=.8
0.8 * 100 = 80%
That do ya?

A fraction like 4/5 can also be written as 4 devided by 5 which will give you .80 which multiplied by 100 (to remove the decimal point) gives you 80%.
