You can get one for a quid in Asda. They are quite big too. But being the chocolate snob that I am, I'd rather someone bought me a Lindt one instead...
Not that I wouldn't be grateful if someone bought me a £1 egg. It's the thought that counts, and any chocolate given to you as a present can't be bad, can it? :o)

In some places they will be more expensive than others. For example if Tesco's sell them for £1.50 then they will position them in places near to the cashier or somewhere without signs in order to have impulse buys from shoppers. ASDA selling them at £1 would advertise like crazy for ppl to come buy their eggs because they are cheaper. However they will do this in hope that people will not come for the eggs alone but also for other shopping as well, therfore the egg is the attraction to go to ASDA.
Hmmm....Although if u are gettin much cheaper eggs then you should look into who stole that truckload of eggs recently.

Yes i do believe they are, My theory is they sell them cheaper now so there arent as many left over after easter and therefore less to sell off even cheaper than they are now.

I sure hope they're getting cheaper. My 7 year old still loves Easter and egg hunts and stuff. Our money(if you can call it that) doesn't stretch very far for easter.

You're right, doesn't that make you worry though about why they're so cheap, what exactly is going into those easter eggs.

They are indeed. This is probably due to the minimal level of cocoa solids in most British 'chocolate' products.
