Other than tinting the windows, there are not many ways. I have not seen a computer program that will allow it to be done, unless you just take a picture of your care and photoshop it.

You could see if you can find a car like yours and look at it. Is it a newer car? You might be able to find it at a dealership.

Another idea, a bit wasteful, is to get the cheapest tintjob you can find. You can look at the results and then peel the tint off before it starts to adhere to the glass. Don't let it stay on there too long or else you will have a hard time getting the stuff off. This idea will cost you a bit of money. I would not recommend it personally.

I would say, just get it tinted and spend some money and get a good job done. Don't go to the guy who advertises the cheapest job. You will get poor film that will probably already be turning purple and you will get poor workmanship.

Sure.

Get some of that cheap removable tint, cut it to fit and stick it on. It doesn't use adhesive - just sticks by static, and pulls back off.

You can try different shades, and see how it looks (keep in mind that really dark tint can be a pain in the **** at night). When you get it how you want it, either buy some good tint and carefully install it or take it to a place and have it done professionally.

Nothing looks worse than cheap, badly installed tint. Bubbles can form if it isn't installed correctly, and it will look bad around the edges and starts to peel if you don't trim it neatly.

Also make sure to check local ordinances - some places have limits on how dark your tint can be, and it would suck to spend a bunch of money having some nice looking tint installed, only to have a cop make you pull it off by the side of the road.

It will look better, trust me, I got tinted windows. :)

You could take a pic of your car with a digital camera or get a photo scanned. Edit the photo using PhotoShop or maybe MS Paint.

As long as you get the normal black window tint, it will ALWAYS look great if it's done proplerly.
If you get those silly colored tint like red or green...Well...It's your risk.
