I have to say, that the series conclusion was the best for me. It was so beautiful, and sad at the same time.
It provided closure to all of those characters that we loved so much during those 6 years...we see how all of them died, set to the tune of "Breathe Me" by Sia. We see how Ruth dies, then David and Keith, Brenda and Billy, Rico, Claire....I sat there and sobbed like a baby...and it helped me realize that Death is not quite as scary as I had always thought.
My heart was pounding through my chest. There has never been a series conclusion on anything in TV Land that had such a poignant and meaningful ending.
I loved that show. One of HBO's best original programming ever.

Yes, what a great show. There were so many great episodes but the one where David is carjacked by the crackhead sticks out in my mind as very powerful. I thought sure David was a goner but was glad he survived it. Of course that episode set David up for a long decline in his mental health. I think I really started to appreciate the actor that played David (Michael C Hall) so much more after this episode as well.
BTW, have you seen Michael C. Hall's most recent show, Dexter? It's excellent.

I have tried to watch this show many times - to NO avail, when it comes to my liking it.
Therefore I have NOT even a close favorite, however there is a T.V. trail of it showing a young woman lying on a bed with eyes drawn onto paper, then cut out and placed over her own . . I'd like to see that episode. It's got me wondering What the "Heck" is going on!
Sure does seem intriguing!

The episode where the guy got mangled in the mixing tank and killed at the beginning was familiar to me because years ago I worked at a Manufacturing Plant and when we had to go inside to clean them that was always one of our biggest fears .That someone outside the tank would accidentally hit the mixer start button & In that episode the guy on the outside fell off the ladder & hit the switch.....Freaky

I watched it the first 2-3 seasons; my favorite SFU moment was Claire (the teenage daughter) getting high in the old hearse; I grew up in a funeral home, and if my father or mother had ever caught me doing that, I'd have NEEDED a hearse.

I don't watch it because I can't understand it. Guess I just don't have the sense of humor this generation does.
