The only people who worry about it is the people who have a short supply of it compared to their needs or desires.

Which constitutes the majority of society.

Unfortunately, money is needed for almost anything you want or desire in life.

People say that the one pleasure in life that is free is sex. But even that is not free.........would you sleep with a homeless bum on the street without a penny to their name?

Money is essential.

Maybe you have enough money to meet your desires and wants and that is good. You either have lots of money or little needs / desires and you are happy with your lot, that is a very good state to be in.

But most humans always want more.

I don't do gambling cos I can't afford it, don't believe anyone that says you can live without money, cos it's just not true. you need shelter, food, warmth all these cost money, and I'm always worrying about it because I have bills to pay, and children to look after. My husband is on the minimum wage, and he can't give up work cos we have a mortgage to pay for. We can't get council tax benefit, the council have told us we are on the border line, what ever that means. It's obvious you have a decent wage coming in, and don't need to worry about it, I bet you arn't married and have kids then.?

Money as they say makes the world go around.... We all need it to have some form of it in today's society unfortunately....Those who worry are to busy keeping up with "Jone's" or have a material mind set.

Money may not matter much for you because you are beyond the material need.

It's a hard path too follow and we all get caught up in commercialism of it all and in turn finding ourselves always worrying about it.

You should be glad you don't worry and maybe help them see that it's really not worth worrying about.

Remember the size of you pocket book or house or car don't make you a better person it's your heart and your mind.

on the contemporary time, all and sundry is stressful approximately money. After 4 years you have an excellent to be careful approximately you're guy. All i bypass to declare with regard to the guy element is shop on with you're instincts..their many times good. college is often very demanding. maximum folk have a generic selection of being concerned what others think of. all of it sounds very favourite. yet I do think of you need to be so under pressure over issues which you are going to be having a breakdown. Take a holiday. or have 2 days have been all you do is pamper your self and shop you're concepts off the bs.

Ha ha ha I've just said exactly this same thing to my B/f on messenger!

He's on about it all the time! It drives me MENTAL!

I say as long as we've got food on the table and the kids are happy then who cares? everything else is just an added bonus really.

As for all those people who are saying about being loaded?! I live on income support. I am as far from loaded as you can get. But i'm still happy and not worried about money.

I think a lot of people these days are very materialistic. I'm not saying that's bad, if it works for you then all well and good. I'm just one of those people who can quite easily get up and walk out, moving on to pastures new having left everything else behind (not my kids, i mean stuff, lol)

Maybe your the same? It doesn't matter as long as your warm, dry, full and happy?

You must either be fairly well off or very tight. Try imposing a spending limit and imagine that's all you've got. Then see the worries build up.

Just read your responses. The atitude you have is fair enough but I'd still maintain that you sound like you're doing ok. If you earn just above minimum wage then there can't be many people who need you to pay them, if you see what I mean. Do you have your own place? Do you rent? who pays your bills? People who don't stress about money have no one on their back about it. Either that or a really skewed sense of responsibility.
If it's the fact that you simply don't miss what you don't have then good for you but that also betrays a lack of ambition and makes for a dull life.
I earn ok but still worry about money. I know, for instance that the majority of my wages are spent before I get them and that they won't actually cover my expenses so I'll be chasing myself again.
Actually I suppose I don't so much worry about money, more worry about debt and covering it.

If you don't have to worry about it, I congratulate you. However, the main reason many people do is that most middle class Americans are only two paychecks away from cooking squirrel under a bridge. Our basic overhead expenses (rent or mortgage, lights, water, phone, gas, food, etc) are never ending. Once you get them paid for this month, then you have to start worrying about getting them paid NEXT month.

Because you live in a council house, therefore do not pay as much rent and bills as the rest of the people on here who rent or buy their own house, and thats not including if you live with your parents or not.

Dont tell me not to worry about money when your rent on your council house is £280 a month at the most, and my mortgage is £834!

Because of society has taught us that we not complete and can never be truly satisfied until we acquire and accumulate a lot of money.
Thats why people are constantly thinking and talking about money
