I have bsnl broadband.The no. of byte sent & received increase as we download/upload/surf the internet.But when we don't do anything then also it continuously increases.why ?

have you noticed the no of bytes increases a lot slower than it increases when youre browsing . its just because the website youre on is constantly making contact with its source . you know , its just like your fan it consumes the same amount of current even when its speed changes .

Get your computer checked for virus. There is a virus on your computer that is continuously sending data packets from your computer.
