I've got this one covered:
getting divorced after 25 years,
many health issues, the biggest:degenerative scoliosis, I'm 4 inches shorter then I was even 5 years ago, (my ribs now sit down in my pelvis),
lost my home to foreclosure (thanks to my husbands gambling problem and my co-dependency problem),
living with my married daughter and 2 grandkids (being the live-in Nanny and maid) while waiting for my appeal with social security for my disability.
Lost my Grandma in Nov. 06 and my Uncle in Jan. 07, and less than a month ago my Dad has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and on March 30th is having his left kidney removed (every prayer is appreciated).
I could go on but I think you get the idea.

My home burned down in early Dec. We lost almost everything and had to quickly find a temporary place to live until we could make other arrangements. That was rather drastic for us. The other arrangements turned out to be a complete change in our lives. Took Ins. money, moved 500 miles and 2 states away, bought a home for 1/3 the price that a replacement would have cost were we had lived. We quit our jobs and are now set up in new house, wife just started new job, and I've been interviewing all this week.

I'm calmer and more tolerant since reading books on reincarnation by James Van Praagh. It was really enlightening. Christianity and reincarnation DO work together. Since I had problems with accepting the whole Bible stuff I found that knowing about the soul's real purpose has helped me to feel so much more at peace.

You could say that...not as big as yours, but pretty serious. Husband lost his job - store closed - and found a new one that is so radically different it's freaking us both out.
