He will stay in New York or go to Chicago if he has a terrible year in New York with the media and fans.
Lou Piniella really wants A-Rod and will do just about whatever it takes to get him especially if things don't work out for A-Rod in New York this year regardless of the big
extention the Cubs just gave Ramirez.

No way. First of all, the Mets got David Wright. And I don't know what was David thinking when he said he'd move if A-Rod came to New York (which is like what, zero percent probability?). Mets fans love David so much and would be enraged like you won't believe if the Mets moved him for A-Rod. And I don't think A-Rod is enamored with New York, either. Plus, the Mets offense is loaded. Just look at their line up. How could a person not like that kind of lineup? The extra money that they have will most likely be spent on pitching. Should A-Rod not have his contract extended beyond this season, he'll probably wind up with the Cubs.

Its all good to wonder what will happen to Mrs. Rodriguez. But the Yankees won't let ms pretty boy himself leave. In the past three seasons with new york hes hit 35+ homeruns every season, 105 rbis in 04, 130 in 05, and 121 in 06. Also has avg. 116 runs over the last three season there and has over 150 hits a season. Now I am not saying its worth the 50 million over the next three years or whatever that the yankees are gonna pay him. I frankly, cannot stand him and all the drama he brings. But expect him to put up monster numbers this year. I predict he is closer to the 2005 numbers.
.332 201 hits, 130 runs, 43 hrs 130 rbis.

As a Mets fan who reads the newspapers and listens to sports radio, let me tell you two things:
1 - He cant handle the pressure of New York as it is with the Yankees, he'll never go across town.
2 - Mets fans dont want him.
Moving David Wright from 3rd base would be a huge mistake, he's the most beloved Mets player since Mike Piazza and it would cause a fan backlash, I think. Its a nice thought to add a bat like that in our lineup, but the Mets dont need more hitting, they need pitching, A-Rod and the Mets would not mix.

No shot, A-Rod will be a Met next year. He would be too much money anyway. The Met's line up is LOADED, and they will def spend more money on pitching first and foremost. The Met's have a really good team, and they where the best team in the NL last year, even losing to the Cards. The line up is not broke, so don't fix it! ! !

HAHAHAHHA what kind of question is that, the Mets wouldn't even want him, they have David Wright at 3b and Jose Reyes at SS, do you honestly think they would take A-rod over either of these players, LUDICROUS

Logically he will NEVER go to the Mets.
The Mets will have to fork up a ton of money for him.
Most feel he cannot deal with the media hype in NY (which is more for the Yankees), but he will get a lot of "you couldn't do it for the Yanks..."
A-Rod will be with Sweet Lou P. and the Cubbies next year (if not with the Yanks)

He is going to go somewhere that will allow him to play SS.
What retarded reporters are asking a 3rd basemen if he will move for Arod? He does not want to play 3rd base.

Sorry, not a chance, Met fans. If he leaves the Yanks, he will leave NY completely. It takes a special makeup to survive that media glare. Jeter has it, he does not. Most likely destinations would be the Cubs or the Angels.
