I feel like an idiot. It was a tight space and I obviously didn't pay attention. It doesn't seem to be scuffed or dented at all, just paint that's rubbed on from the bumper. Trying to find a simple way to do this before my husband is aware!

Sometimes you can just scrape it off with your fingernail. Otherwise get some wax and start buffing it with a rag.

If your hubby asks, just tell him that it must've been a yellow car that hit yours while it was sitting in a parking lot!!

I had a kid brush against my '65 mustang one time - it left a white streak down one side (my car is black). He lived right next door - I saw his white car sitting there, and walked over and looked at the front bumper - and sure enough, there was a scuff on it. The paint came off my mustang really easily, but I went over and woke him up anyway, and told him I wouldn't be mad if he had just told me instead of pretending like it didn't happen. He was very apologetic, so he got to keep his teeth.

If those polishers and eraser products don't work well you can use Acetone applied to a rag (similar to fingernail polish remover, available in any home paint dept.). But be careful, it can take down the clearcoat of your own paint as well if not applied sparingly and carefully. Always wipe with a clean, dry part of the rag immediately after its application to avoid any 'eating' into your own paintcoat.

dont use kerosene or gasoline to remove it those two are very strong liquid and can removed the paint,,,try prepsol or prepwash and soft cloth or rug and remove it gently and used wax on hard solid paint and apply prepsol again as
a finisher
and if your husband is still aware,,,,,,then you can stay with me
hope it helps
