I'm so sick of reading questions on here asking why celebs adopt from other countries. Who cares as long as a child in need gets a home!

BRAVOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! since when did adopting children become socially unacceptable!?! what's socially unacceptable is rich people hopping from one house to another in one country or another, with noone to share the wealthy and living with! bravo to those who adopt!
p.s. i cant speak for jeni and natasha (who share my views) but i will say to the person who said"yea but you cant adopt all of them...." umm why not!?! were YOU going to dig in your pockets and adopt an ORPHAN!?!?! probably not. it's not like she's hoarding them! there are MILLIONS!! OF ORPHANS...what part of that are you and other simpletons not getting!?

Your Right About As Long As It Is A Child In Need. But I Think We Have An Underlying Problem In Our Country That Needs To Be Addressed Before The Option Of Adopting From Another Country Becomes An Option. Right Now Personally....I Do Think The Odoption From Another Country Thing Is Just A Silly Fad That Celebs Are Doing To Get Exposure. If They Adopted In This Country.....They Wouldnt Make The News As Much!!!

Exactly. Everyone makes a big deal about Jolie and Madonna adopting kids from other countries but nobody cares about the US government cutting funds for education, Medicare, programs for working-class families, etc. Who cares if Bush is cutting programs for our children/poor/elderly to fund his war but OMG Angelina Jolie adopted a baby from another country.

This is the first question I've seen that references celebs adopting from other countries. Maybe I just breeze right on past those without even taking note.
Then again... it could be the blue hair factor.

I agree if they're adopting for the right reasons.
Some celebrities, though, seem to think a cambodian baby in their hip is a neat accessory.

think about it. they adopt from another country TO BE NOTICED, not because they care, if they adopt from their own country it would not get as much publicity. take care of YOUR OWN HOME BEFORE REACHING OUT.

i completely agree with you!! They are the ones with all the money, and i would rather seem them adopt a child and give them a wonderful life, than to see them on the news in bars being @sses and what not blowing all that money. I think its great they are giving to kids....

Why would you make a question about it? Just reply to their question and tell them to chill out at least they have home, it seems like you're the one making a big deal about it.

i think its dumb because there are millions of children here in america in need of homes. but you are right.. as long as a child gets a home. i honestly think theyd be better off donating the amount of money theyd spend on the child to the country so that they can help all of the children there.
