I havent played pokemon for some time. But for you to catch them I believe you used a master ball (or something like that) and to see them...well if it has changed from the ol' red and blue all you did was find them and catch.

first defeat all the gym leaders and the elite four.then the legendaries will automatically appear randomly on the maps.dont worry if you cant see them at first.it took me a day of extensive searching before i found my first one.they all appear at random.And by the way,my pokemoncrater account is pokezer.

what you have to do is beat all the gym leaders and the elite members then you will randomly find a legendary.
