What were your thoughts on American Idol last night 03/21/07?

I am really upset that Stephanie went home last night (represent Savannah GA.). But I am more confused on how some of the other singers are still there. What the heck is going on with American Idol this year?? Tell me what you think.

I Completely Agree With You. I Think Part Of The Problem Is That There Is A Web Site Called www.votefortheworst.com. And People Are Buying Into it. All I Can Say Is That If Kids Or Society In General Thinks That Sanjiah Or Any Of The Men For That Matter Or Any Of The White Girls Sound Better Than Stephanie Then No Wonder We Buy Into The Britany Spears Or Paris Hiltons Or Jessica Simpsons Instead Of The REAL Talent That Is So Prevalent In Our Country. American Idol has become "Who Looks Better America." I don't care how you look, if you can sing then you are the one who deserves the prize. Sanjaya sucks PERIOD!!!!!!!! Here is my prediction.... Lakisha, Melinda, & Jordin will make it to the top 5 out of the girls. Blake and either Chris or Phil will be the 2 guys. More than likely we have a girl for a winner... that is just some of what I think... I could tell you more but you would think you were talking to Simon...lmao.

Because it has turned into a popularity contest and the singing doesn't matter.

This year has not produced much talent, only 3 of the last 10 deserved to be there, Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin. Most of the rest are average and some are downright awful. Chris R is so nasally and it is annoying. Sanjaya just can't sing. I still don't understand why the judges put him into the final 24.

But, America votes and seems unable to get it into its collective skull that this is about singing, not love sick 12 year olds voting for Sanjaya because he is cute.

Well first thing is that Howard Stern is trying to get everyone to vote for the worst. So I guess it has a little to do with that, also I think that Sanjaya is still on because so many young girls are voting for him...... but If the presidental election can be riged then Im sure so can american idol

Sanjaya needs to go home !!!!!!! I was hoping Stephanie made the top 4. If you ask me Sanjaya needs to go first then Phil and then Haley. Sanjaya is making a mockery of AI. For those who don't like AI they should just stop watching it instead of ruining it for everyone else by keeping the worst singer.

Wow! I was surprised too! She's a lot better than Sanjaya and a couple of the other singers. I think that they should show the numbers to the public, all you hear is who the bottom people are. I never thought that was fair. I also think that 'vote for the worst' thing is screwing things up too.

my thoughts on last night was that i was suprised Chris R. was in the bottom 2. I wasn't surprised it was Stephanie. I did think that Phil would be the one voted off last night, though.

I consider you approximately American Idol final night. I didnt like it in any respect. It replaced into boring. the only standouts final night have been David Archuleta and Carly Smithson. David did extra effective this week than he did final week. final week his peformance have been a multitude. He forgot the lyrics to the track final week. the youngsters making a track extra Beatles songs back this week replaced into an overkill. completely boring. i wish they sing distinctive stuff next week and please not extra Beatles songs

Stephanie shouldn't have left, I know Chris is from my state, but he isn't that good he shouldn't have stayed. Whats wrong with america!!!!!!
Even last week Brandon is way better then Sanjia....Sanjia stinks at singing
