Please show some respect. The guy has been murdered. He leaves behind him a wife and 2 children. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him is still coming to terms with his death.

Some of the comments posted here are just insensitive - please think about what you are writing and how they can cause further hurt and pain to those of us who knew him.

It's just been confirmed as murder. It always seemed it would be as 58 year old sportsmen are usually the sort to drop dead of natural causes, especially not when it is the night after their team suffers a humiliating defeat and is forced out of the world cup.

The more you hear, the more suspicious it sounds.
Very sad, especially if he was murdered. I can't understand why anyone would want a coach dead just because his team crashed out of a competition. I heard a rumour that a betting syndicate was involved. I don't know.
RIP Bob.

There is speculation that he may have been murdered. Police is investigating the matter and exact cause of death and other details will be known only after the investigation is completed.
