I thought seedings for the NBA playoffs were based on a teams win percentage. But both Chicago and Miami have better win percentages than Toronto and yet Toronto are currently the 4th seed.

The Raptors are leading their division and no division winner can be seeded lower than fourth

Because Toronto is a division leader and Miami and Chicago aren't. The divisional winners are guarenteed at least a 4 seed. Cleveland isn't a divisional leader, but they are the second seed because they have the second best record in the east. If Chicago was a division leader they would be at least a 4 seed, but because they aren't they are a 5 seed.

I don't know about that but I do know that Chris Bosh is playing furiously and so is the rest of the team so it's because they win more than they lose

Even though i hate toronto for stealing 1st place from th N.J. Nets, toronto's Chis Bosh is a beast. he is deadly in the paint. his height and speed and his quickness plus his scoring ability. 'nuff said
