Where is the oil pressure sensor located on a 1986 chevy nova thanks

v 8 rear next to the distributer on top of engine if its not a v8 what engine do you have as there all diffrent

Hello there, well your 1986 nova IS a toyota corolla. It should have the 4alc engine 1.8l. The oil pressure swith is on the front of the engine to the left of the oil filter, if you have air conditioning it really sucks to get to, but it is there. it is a round swith that screws into the block and has one wire conncted to it and it is a very common leak and can cause the oil light to flicker.Good luck!

Your "chevy" is actually a Toyota. If memory serves, it's just above the oil filter.
