When my teachers say '' If you fail this trimester you have to go to summerschool'' Does that mean I have to get a F for fail or does a D considered failing too. and can they hold me back for getting a D in 2/4 subjects or could you get a D in all your major subjects and pass

D is just getting by. Barely. F is failing. Try to do the best you can in your subjects. It will give you a sense of pride and it will also reflect on your work when you finish school. Good Luck.

Based on my experience, D is considered pass but below par, you don't have to repeat the subject again. Only F that you need to retake it again.

Why do you have to interpret and worry what your teacher said? He just wants you to work harder and try your best. If you do so, you can pass all the subjects and don't have to go to summer school. Trust me,you can do it, nothing is too difficult. It's a matter of how you can make yourself love what you are doing/studying. Peanut.

This may depend on what school you go to and what state you're in. You really need to ask someone at your school.

You'd better ask *the teachers* and get this straight.
