Here are some of the best vampire works I have read:
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Mina by Marie Kiraly
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles
Kim Harrison’s Rachel Morgan series about a witch who is a bounty hunter and works with a vampire and a pixie
Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Norville series about a werewolf radio talk show host
Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series about a wizard private investigator in Chicago
Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series
For Young Adults:
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman
Midnight's Choice by Kate Thompson, part of a trilogy that begins with “Switchers” and ends with “Wild Blood”
Companions of the night by Vivian Vande Velde
If you just want to kill some time and have some fun reverting back to childhood, check out The Bailey School Kids series by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones. They have some humorous titles like "Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots" and "Dracula Doesn't Rock and Roll".

Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles (Long reads, good writing, not much humor)
Stephenie Meyer - Twilight, New Moon (Amazing, romance, funny, good plot, it will make you cry)
Mary Janice Davidson - Undead Series (hilarious, short books, the main character is the exact opposite of the stereotypical vampire)
Darren Shan - Cirque du Freak Series (very well written, no romance but good plot and characters)
Christopher Moore - You Suck (I have heard many good things about this book, I'm about to start reading its prequel, Bloodsucking Fiends)

White Wolf: World of Darkness fiction novels are a favorite of mine. These are not teenage vampire novels, but they are good reads.

Titles:
#1 A Hunger Like Fire
#2 Blood in, Blood Out
#3 Marriage of Virtue & Viciousness

I would read the Undead and Unemployed books. there are several books and they are related by characters and they are vampire books. she becomes the vampire queen even though she doesn't want to and she is kind of married to one of the most powerful male vampires known, married by vampire law but not in her mind because he didn't ask.

Try the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. They are really good books.

Try Peeps by Scott Westerfeld. It's a very interesting take on vampirism. There's also another book (not a sequel with the same characters, but same idea...)

I used to love the Christopher Pike "Last Vampire" series, he's an incredible author.
