i look at it this way, I think that the producers of American Idol use the fans votes as a guideline of who says and who goes. Sanjaya is still here because he wasn`t in the bottom two or three this time. I know he probably has fans but he can`t sing.

They pick the worst singer and urge people to keep voting for him. It is a terrible tragedy to the people who can actually sing on that show. I wish American Idol could put a stop to it.

You know what kills me is that Stephanie Edwards had one bad week and she got voted off (I think she did better than most). Meanwhile that curly head, gay Sanjiyah has been terrible the whole time and he never once got booted.
That really bothers me, but like the judges say "It's up to America to vote, and it's girls like Ashley (the little girl who was crying all night), that have that fool staying around". If that boy don't go home next week I give up becuase it's not right that other good talent is leaving the show.

I think it's all fixed, and people don't vote for the best singer, they vote for the one they fancy.
It helps that Sanjaya is very good looking.
He may not be the best singer in the competition, but so far he's not been the worst.

It's a popularity contest not a talent contest because all the little girls are voting for him. They don't have sense enough to cast their votes for the really talented contestants.

I think he is still on the show because he's cute. His audition was good to me and maybe his first two performances, but I think he is the worse singer.
