FFX. Best graphics and gameplay. I was scared sh*tless the first time I saw that final aeon! lol

X-2 was waaay too girlie, even for me! And that XII was beautiful, but really went downhill on the gameplay. I love my turn-style games. The new one isn't what I hoped it would be.

But, I will admit, 7 layed an awsome path for other games. It was revolutionary in it's day. It's still a great game, but shows it's age now...

;o)

I found 10 to be a real pain in the a*se. That stupid underwater game thing?! GGrrrr it drove me made (coz i was absolute rubbish at it lol)

I gotta say i did like both 8 (which i have NEVER got past the final battle on) and 9 (a bit kiddiefied but very entertaining)

And i sooooo can't wait to get the new one.

Final Fantasy X is the best. I hate the new battle system they use in Final Fantasy XII. It's really sort of weird going to a whole system that nobody knows.

very final fantasy 3 (6 Japan) tale:10/10 pix: 10/10 for that is time Sound: 10/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Replay: 10/10 between the very few that i might supply an entire 50, even on the instant. once you get to the "international of melancholy" that is incredibly much like an entire new interest. quite a few characters, 2 secret ones; between the precise villians in video interest background. in case you have under no circumstances performed this interest and count type your self as an RPG fan or maybe purely somebody that likes relatively solid video games than you owe it to your self to %. up this interest. they have re-released it for the Gameboy strengthen and have plans for releaseing it on the Nintendo DS with a finished pix overhaul. 2d place very final fantasy 2( i think of five in Japan) tale: 10 pix:9 for that is time Sound:8 Gameplay:10 Replay:8 This interest had some plot twists at as quickly as out of a cleansing soap opera. staggering intensity interior the protaginist's discovery of self. large interest Honorable Mentions: very final fantasy 7(extra of a tie with type 2 relatively), and extremely final fantasy 11

I absolutely loved FFVII, such a great storyline that just recently sparked a bunch of great spin-offs. It would have to be my favorite Final Fantasy, followed closely by FFIX since this was actually the first one I played in the serious. Yay Vivi!

FF7, for the sheer complexity of its world and the incredible plot and subplots. Also, the love triangle between Cloud, Aerith and Tifa, not to mention the one between Lucrecia, Vincent and HOjo, had me(as well as others) hooked.

The open-ended ending left a lot of possibilities for fans to come up with their own continuation of the saga; I've read great attempts to 'end' it properly.

The characters were in general well-rounded and you either loved them or hated them, and I've yet to encounter someone who was indifferent to any of them. And at one point, they feel 'real'. Cloud's character was incredibly well-thought. Who would have made their 'hero' as psychotic as the rest of humanity? Anyway, who needs Superman anymore? XD We want heroes we can relate to. As for the 'villain'.. was he really the one pulling the strings? That was never clearly defined in the game; was Sephiroth acting of his own free will and using JENOVA? Or was JENOVA using Sephiroth?

Ah, and the mini-games added layers of interest to the games, as well as keeping us amused for hours on end ^_^

FF7 is the best one. No where compared to the new graphics for the new ones but to me that does not matter all that much. As one of the other people said FF7 set the ground work for most games of its kind after it. FF7 has a really good story line and game play. To me every FF game after 7 lost its "juice" and went pure graphics and left a good story line out.

of those options.... 10
but I really thought the series lost a lot after the 16bit era ended and would take any of the GBA advanced series over anything from the playstation era
