I'm terrible at English. I would say:

1. I saw so many of my old High School friends. (it's actually a dumb sentence that doesn't feel comfortable without further dialog. And why one have to say they 'knew' their friends?)

2. Today I learned how hard it is to train a new employee.

3. I try to remain contactable by carrying a cell phone.

4. Hey I just got here, can you repeat that first bit?

Punctuation is my down fall but I'm not alone. The British system of law avoids the use of punctuation except for periods, which they call, 'full stop'.

I know this doesn't answer your question but it will give you some food for thought.

if the "would'nt" in #4 is a typo on your part, then it's number 4.
Otherwise, I would say #2
