Did you use any kind of fuel stabilzer in the tank? If not it might not be a bad idea to drain the tank and start with some fresh fuel.

My polaris has another kill switch other than the key, on the left handle bar... be sure it is set to "run" if it does.

Just like any other motor check all the basics... do you have fuel and air to the carb and spark at the plugs? Be sure that nothing has got into the air cleaner. I've seen cars and atv's with rats nests in the aircleaners before after sitting for a while.
