Try using large ziplock bags and real lavender sachets. Or when you make the bed, spray lavender on everything and have a sweet dreams. (obviously I like lavender!) Do whatever scent you prefer.

You can store the sheets in a plastic air tight bag with a USED drier sheet. If you use an unused fabric sheet the smell will be overwhelming and if stored very long it may leave a residual stain on light colored sheets.

You can also store the sheets without a dryer sheet in an airtight bag and then when you use them you can spray them with a mixture of your favorite fabric softener and water. You can make it a strong as you like. It works wonderful! I use this all over my house to keep all fabrics smelling fresh. It is cheaper and works better then anything else I have tried.

Go to Linens and Things, Or bed ,Bath and Beyond, and get Sachet, and put it next to the towels when you put them away, and that helps,to have a nice smell, they also sell drawer lining, fragrant paper .Or take a few of the dryer sheets and put them in between the sheets , until you use them.

I like to put dryer sheets in the closets and some of my drawers. That keeps the linens and clothes smelling like they are freshly laundered.

You can pack it in an air tight container or shrink wrap it. However it will never smell as fresh as it does when it comes out of the dryer.
